Origami Dragons

These are fantastic.
I should definitely take up origami as a hobby.

Forgiveness

"Always forgive your enemies. Nothing annoys them so much." -Oscar Wilde

I do believe in forgiving and forgetting. While some things may not be entirely erased, they can be put out of your mind if they are not recurring incidents which harm you in any way. I cannot help forgiving people. Sometimes it takes a bit longer, but generally I will forgive almost anything. While being able to forgive easily can be a good quality at times, it may not always be as wonderful as it sounds. Some things cannot be forgiven too many times, or they become bad habits without repercussion.

For example, when training a puppy, if you always forgive him immediately after he's done something wrong, he would never learn that this behaviour was bad, and would not change.  However, with time, forgiveness is of course necessary to maintain your relationship with your pet.

With time, anything, no matter how bad, can be forgiven.

Jeannette Wall’s Childhood

Fire.
Most people/animals have a tendency to shy away from something which harms them - instinct.
Jeanette embraces fire instead of fearing it. I'm not entirely sure why - it's probably not the smartest idea, but it doesn't work against her in this case. I do respect her for not backing away from it.

Maturity.
While a lot of people would argue that Jeannette didn't have a 'childhood' (and maybe it wasn't the best childhood), her mature way of handling things when faced with situations is quite enviable.

Optimism.
'  "Do you like always moving around?' Lori asked me.
"Of course I do!" I said. "Don't you?"
   "Sure," she said. '
Jeannette stays optimistic even in the seemingly worst situations. Where many others would give up hope, and where her family does give up hope, Jeanette sees things in their best light.

(Intro) AmEF6EAmADmGEAmGFAm

It is a sailboat. The background. (Update: It is no longer a sailboat)
It does not mean anything in particular to me.
I suppose if you search hard enough you can find meaning in anything meaningless.
Is that paradoxical?
While I'm not going to attempt to delve into the hidden meanings of my background choice right now, I did go through 32 other backgrounds before settling on this one. (Update: Probably about 46 now)

"No Lollygagging"
Yes, I did quote it. From a game.
It makes me laugh every time I hear it.

My life has been pretty amazing thus far... though probably not containing anything interesting for a reader to read about, or for me to write about.
I could talk about that time I accidentally killed my pet tadpoles when I was little... or that other time I tried reading an abridged dictionary - which was a fairly fruitless attempt, since I stopped shortly after reaching the "B's." Although, if you ask the definition of a word beginning with an 'A' I'll likely give you a correct answer (or half-correct)

Xezadon. Does it sound like the name of a dinosaur? I think it does.
It is a pretty neat name, I made it up for a character in a game about 4 years ago, and now I just use it everywhere because I lack creativity.

No, the name of my blog post was not a result of me banging my head on the keyboard while trying to think of something to write.
Those are the chords of a song Africa Bamba  in some logical order.

I think it's time to cut off my introduction now, before I type even more emotionless sentences containing almost no information, which no one will likely ever read.

So welcome to my blog!
